Lange hat es gedauert, aber nun ist es soweit. Die neuste Version des ESL GUIs ist fertig und bereits zum Download.

Die vielen CS:S Updates hat unseren Zeitplan deutlich durcheinander gebracht, aber nun ist die neue Version des CS:S ESL GUIs fertig. Neben dem bekannten Installer gibt es ab sofort auf Wunsch der Community auch noch eine Version zum selbst entpacken. Diese ist für alle sinnvoll, die sich nicht durch den Installer klicken wollen, oder nicht können.
 

Die Neuerungen


  • Das GUI unterstützt nun auch Mac OSX im vollem Umfang.
  • Alle Menüs wurden an das neuste CS:S Update angepasst, damit auch alle neuen Funktionen im GUI weiterhin funktionieren.
  • Der Wallpaper aus dem ESL GUI Wallpaper Contest von JeYchen verziert nun den Hintergrund sowie das Default-Spraylogo
  • Ein Buy-Script kann in den Tastatureinstllungen erstellt werden
  • Die Tastatureinstellungen wurden erweitert
  • Der Installer wurde verkürzt und benötigt nun keine festen Service Packs mehr
  • Auswahl im Installer welche Komponenten installiert werden sollen
  • Fehler in der Console wurden im Gegensatz zu manchen anderen GUIs in Verbindung mit zBlock minimiert.
  • Volle Kompatibilität zum ESL Plugin

Ein Großes Dankeschön geht vor allem an Scholle, der das GUI an die neusten Updates angepasst und die neuen Funktionen implementiert hat. Von Martek kommt der Installer, der automatisch ein Backup von eurem Counter-Strike Order erstellt und euch durch die Installation leitet.

Natürlich geht auch ein riesiges Dankeschön wie immer an Schlaggy. Ohne ihn und seine Ideen wären GUIs wie dieses wohl nie denkbar gewesen. Auch wenn er nicht mehr aktiv an der Entwicklung teilnimmt, sind seine Ideen wohl für immer präsent!

Entfernt wurde leider der Reg-Editor. Dieser benötigt ein größeres Update und ist in der aktuellen Form nicht mehr voll verwendbar. Aber: Wir werden in einer kommenden Version diesen wieder hinzufügen wenn er fehlerfreier und mit mehr Funktionen ausgestattet ist.
